Instead of a circus tent, large domes will shape “The Marvel Experience,” an upcoming traveling show from Marvel Entertainment and Hero Ventures.
The companies have revealed the design for the two-acre mobile complex, set to go on tour this year, with a rendering designed by Aaron Sims, a concept and special effects artist who has worked on “The Incredible Hulk,” “The Amazing Spider-Man,” “X-Men: First Class” and the “Transformers” franchise.
The exterior is meant to resemble a temporary S.H.I.E.L.D. installation or “Mobile Command Center,” with the largest dome rising six stories high.
Inside, connected domes will lead guests through interactive games, original animated short films and a motion-based ride, said to be the first developed to travel.
